Falling Skies is a "modern" take on the old classic "Asteroids" shooter. Inspiration for this game was based off Space Invaders and Galaga.
Multiple Power ups for you to obtain to make your life easier!
There are 5 unique levels with a big boss fight at the end! Its a short and sweet but a very engaging little game!
The sprites used in this project are now available to purchase! with a transparent background its super easy to make cool space shooters and animations!

It plays great with a gamepad, but horrible with keyboard, sluggish and floaty. Should be 1:1 with D-pad controls, but it’s very much not.
What a fun little game !! It really reminded me of the classics it is inspired by and it was very enjoyable. The controls are Extremely responsive (bravo !!) and there is enough variety between the different stages to make it interesting.
My favourite part has to be the boss fight, the music fits very well and the boss patterns were fun to play against. Also its dialogue is funny :) Well worth the journey to get there.
Also the fact that all the machines were hand-drawn by you and your friend is such a cute little touch, I love the individually that your assets provide (and they're very well done too!).
